Been incredibly busy lately and been neglecting my blog :( ...but here is a NEW post...my 2nd installment in introducing industry professionals that I recommend because there work is A^MAZING...

Meet Lina Bteddini of Chanele Rose Flowers and Events.

I have had the pleasure of working with Lina on some of my photoshoots and her work is simply stunning! The quality and the life of the flowers amazed me when I got to take some home and they lasted days! I just love her enthusiasm and the passion that goes into each and every bouquet.

Her work is just gorgeous and the photos explain it all...

A little insight into the world of Lina <3

How long have you been working in the industry?
Almost 4 years now.

What is your favourite combination for a bouquet?
Oh that is such a hard one!! I am pretty sure this changes every week! This week it is Dahlias, David Austen & Snow Berries.

What is your most popular flower request?
Peony or David Austen Rose bouquets.

If you had free reign to make a bouquet out of whatever you wanted...what would you use?
Really it would depend on the season but generally speaking I love using native wild flowers. I find them all so unique and interesting.

What do you love most about working in the wedding industry?
I love the wedding industry mostly because I cannot think of anything more rewarding than the feeling that you have taken part in such a special occassion! To have touched someone's life in such a way that will never be forgotten. To be a part of a magical event like that is the most amazing and satisfying feeling - you just cant explain it!!

What do you want to achieve in the next 10 years?
I would love to continue bringing a smile to peoples faces with flowers and producing beautiful events. hopefully one day I can tune my knowledge into teaching floristry - that would be nice!

I get asked a lot about other industry professionals that I can recommend - so I thought I would introduce some of the people I know and have worked with in the bridal industry that I think are A^MAZING!

First cab off the rank is the ever-so-sweet Megan Vaughan of Makeup By Megan.

A little insight into the world of Megan Vaughan <3

How long have you been beautifying brides/in the industry?
I have worked in the wedding industry for over 15 years now (and have just realised that makes me sound really old!)

What is your favourite memory from your wedding day?
There are too many to list. I was married 8 years ago and I remember the entire day like it was yesterday. Listening to my hubby's speech was probably the highlight. He is not a romantic, but that speech was the most heartfelt I have ever heard from him - and he said it in front of 140 guests. It brought a tear to my eye.

What do you love most about working in the wedding industry?
I LOVED every aspect of planning my own wedding, so I LOVE meeting new brides and listening to their stories and wedding details.

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
An illustrator for Walt Disney and a rollerskating snowflake in the Walt Disney World Christmas parade.

Client: "Real Bride" Kim Preen
Photographer: D&V Photography

What do you want to achieve in the next 10 years? Where do you want to be?
In 10 years I will be settled on 5-10 acres in the Kangaroo Valley, I will be represented by an agent and will be working weddings on weekends and fashion/editorial during the week. I am hoping to have been around the world a few times by then and have a French & Italian Vogue cover or two under my belt :0)

How do your friends describe you?
Funny, generous, ambitious, fiercely loyal

Favourite Bridal dress designer?
It's a tie between Elie Saab and Marchesa

If you could be a celebrity for a day, who would it be?
Rachel Zoe

:: Tessa & Nate's Romance ::

I just love that NRL footballer, Nate Myles, proposed to former Home & Away star, Tessa James, with a $2 pink heart shaped "rock" from a toy store...

She now flaunts a much more substantial rock - a 1.5 carat vivid natural yellow diamond ring that she designed herself....LOVE!!!!

On 23rd December 2001, the couple wed outdoors in the spectacular 100-year-old gardens of The Gables in Melbourne and hosted their 150 guests at Tessa's family home for the reception.

Tessa had a traditional wedding, themed "natural romance", and arrived in Rolls Royce with her father. Here dress was absolutely divine and hand crafted over 6 months by the master of couture, Steven Khalil. It was a drop shoulder design featuring swarovski pearl beads, ostrich feathers and french lace....SWOON!

I just love her touch of something borrowed and something blue, a family hairloom brooch worn in her hair <3

"Even though you tell me every day that you are lucky to be with me, I want you to know that I really
am the lucky one,” Tessa said in her vows.

As the cocktail style party went on into the night Tessa changed into a stunning backless short dress, also designed by Steven Khalil, featuring scalloped French lace. I love this idea of a shorter gown to dance the night away in and make your getaway in comfort!

The gorgeous couple’s wedding was last week featured exclusively in New Idea magazine where Nate’s speech was quoted: “Honest to God, I tell her every day how lucky I am to have her and I will always love her to death. I don’t think I could love anyone as much as I do her”.

You must click this link below and watch the film from their day by Untitled Film Works -- just GORGEOUS!!
